Have an Internship Offer? Report it!
If you have received an internship offer, we ask that you take a moment to report it in CareerPath. Please provide information on all offers regardless of whether you accepted or declined it or the source of the offer.

This simple action helps not only the school, but your classmates.  By reporting your offer, you are contributing to data that Wharton provides for school rankings and media requests as well as recruiting and compensation trends MBACM provides to you and future classes.  This information also allows MBACM to better identify and target our support to students who are continuing their internship search.

Curricular Practical Training

International students who will have an internship or work in the US (paid or unpaid) will require work authorization. F-1 students can satisfy this requirement through either Optional Practical Training (OPT) or Curricular Practical Training (CPT). Most students will elect to use CPT as it does not use up the allotted OPT time. The MBA Program Office will offer a summer online course that satisfies the CPT requirement, MGMT891:900. To register for the MGMT 891 class, students are required to watch a 9 minute video which provides details about the course content and registration, and instructions on how to apply for CPT work authorization. Registration for Summer 2015 CPT is now open (Please do not apply for CPT through ISSS until your course registration is complete). Please use the Curricular Practical Training link on SPIKE to begin the process.

Summer Classes

Wharton will offer several graduate-level courses this summer. Wharton students are also welcome to take summer courses at Penn.

The Wharton summer classes are now listed here on SPIKE.  Visit Penn Summer for a list of summer courses offered throughout the University.

If you are intersted in enrolling in a summer course, please email mbaprogram@wharton.upenn.edu
