East Asia Global Immersion Program

Applications for the East Asia Global Immersion Program (GIP) are now open. The East Asia GIP will visit Taipei, Shanghai, Beijing, and Seoul from May 15th to May 30th. The registration form can be found in hard copy at the MBA Program Office, or on the GIP website.

Class Meetings: Q4, Mondays, 4:30-6:30pm

Travel Dates: May 15 – May 30, 2016

Registration: Lottery on March 1
Program Fee: $4,000

International Exchange Applications - Round 2 Info

Round 2 of the application process is open! You may now submit your application materials for the Summer semester international exchange. Please note that Applications should be submitted by February 28th at 11:59pm. Late applications will not be accepted.

Wharton MBA Financial Aid Office: GMC, 1098T, and Quorum Loan Borrowers

Global Modular Courses 

  • If you are planning to attend a Spring GMC, student loan options were sent to registered participants on Friday, February 12th. Please contact Tammy Carter at mills@wharton.upenn.edu if you have any questions.  

1098-T Form

  • The University is required by the IRS to provide every eligible student with a 1098-T Tuition Statement each January. This form provides information that will help you determine eligibility for educational tax benefits on your annual tax return. To access your 1098-T online, please visit www.1098t.com.  You must provide your US social security number or school-assigned number.

Quorum Loan Borrowers

  • The Wharton MBA Financial Aid Office will be holding an information session for graduating Quorum loan borrowers in April.  If you have questions before the session regarding accessing your University Accounting Services (UAS) loan account or repayment questions, please schedule a financial aid appointment with Lakeisha Bishop at Financial Aid Appointment Scheduler.

Film, Dinner, Discussion with Professor Nancy Rothbard

Join us for the screening of Miss Representation followed by an active discussion of women’s representation in the media and its impact on all women. Leadership Program News:
  • Wharton Leadership Ventures invite you to apply to become a Venture Fellow Serving as a Venture Fellow is an incredibly rewarding experience with the opportunity to further develop as a leader and facilitate the leadership development of venture participants. The Venture Fellow Application Will be open from February 17th until March 16th . Prior participation in a Wharton Leadership Venture is not necessary.  In other words, if you haven’t participated in a venture you may still apply to be a Venture Fellow. If you have questions and were not able to attend the information session on Wednesday, please contact Jules Roy or any of our current Venture Fellows.

  • Only One Spot Remaining – Spend Spring Break in Patagonia We have just one spot available on the Patagonia Leadership Expedition in Chile over Spring Break. Dates: March 5-12, 2016. Cost: $3,400. A week of mountain trekking in Chile’s Patagonia region.  This hiking program provides a team building and leadership development experience on one of the world’s most stunning mountain trails, the Dientes Circuit on Isla Navarino.  Isla Navarino is one of the most pristine, remote landscapes on earth and a stunning part of the Cabo Horno World Biosphere Reserve. Through a variety of challenging activities on mountainous terrain, participants build their capacities for self-discipline, decision making, and team direction.  This trip provides trekkers with an extended opportunity to explore their core values and test their leadership skills.

  • Want to spend spring break on a boat in the Caribbean? We have a limited number of spots available on the Small Crew Sailing Leadership Expedition in Grenada over Spring Break. Dates: March 6-11, 2016. Cost: $3,950. Small Crew Sailing places participants in crews of five aboard modern sailboats in Grenada where they will be challenged to work effectively under highly fluid and dynamic conditions. Through daily challenges, participants develop technical sailing, navigation and racing skills while testing and refining their leadership, communication and team- work capabilities in a rapidly changing environment. All spots are first come first serve. These unique, once-in-a-lifetime experiences will build your leadership skills while you adventure through a beautiful area of the world with ~20 new Wharton friends!
