Class of 2025: MBA Graduation Student Speaker

On behalf of the Wharton Graduate Association and the MBA Program, we are pleased to announce the selection of Lorenzo “LJ” Daniel as the Class of 2025 student commencement speaker.

About Lorenzo

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Lorenzo moved from the Texas heat to Boston winters to study Applied Math at Harvard. There, he captained the track and field team.  Here at Wharton, he majored in Management and served as a Leadership Fellow, Admissions Fellow, and VP of Prospective Students for AAMBAA. In an attempt to revive his athletic career, he also co-captained his WHL hockey team and Wharton Club Basketball team.

After graduation, Lorenzo will return to BCG to continue his work in strategy consulting. Eventually, he plans to move into the sports investing space, aiming to expand access to education in underprivileged communities through sport.

What Lorenzo appreciated most about the Wharton MBA program was the opportunity to hear his classmates’ stories while traveling the world. He believes this environment is truly one of a kind—a place where people from every background come together, each with their own purpose, their own path, and the bold ambition to go out and change the world.
