International Exchange for Wharton Students
The Wharton MBA Program offers MBA students exchange opportunities with 19 partner institutions across the globe, providing students with the chance to expand their academic, professional, and cultural perspectives through immersive international study experiences. Wharton MBA students are nominated to study at a partner institution, while students from partner schools join the Wharton community in Philadelphia, creating a dynamic global exchange of ideas and experiences.
Exchange opportunities are available for quarter- and full-semester study during the fall, spring, or summer, depending on the academic calendar of the partner institution.
International students in F-1 or J-1 status are encouraged to consult with their ISSS Advisor regarding program completion timelines, travel considerations, and Optional Practical Training (OPT) implications prior to participating in an exchange program.

Wharton-INSEAD Exchange Program
The Wharton–INSEAD Alliance brings together two of the world’s leading business schools to provide students with access to a truly global MBA experience. Through the exchange program, Wharton students have the opportunity to study at INSEAD’s campuses in Fontainebleau, France or Singapore while engaging with an internationally diverse academic community.
INSEAD’s MBA program is an intensive 10-month curriculum consisting of five academic periods (P1–P5), with coursework including 15 core courses and 7 electives. Students may begin the program in either January or September and study at one or both INSEAD campuses.
